Please keep in mind when deciding how many tickets to reserve that every body, on the boat, including infants count against our maximum capacity.  Every body that boards the boat will need a ticket.

Join us for a day of inventing, designing and making! Check out one of our interactive demonstrations from blacksmiths, wood turners, weavers, spinners, and glass blowers. Learn about 3D printing, building robots, and how to make an electric car. Hands-on activities and workshops will be available throughout the day. Be sure to check back for more information!

Where everyone is a scientist!  Join us for interactive science games, experiments, and projects.  Make a hoop glider, sound sandwich, and more! 

Jingle Jangle Music Time: 2:30pm, 3:15pm & 4pm
A lively interactive music experience that teaches infants and young toddlers basic rhythm through singing, clapping, and shaking shakers!

Kamishibai Story Time: 3:30pm
Enjoy the art of Japanese paper theater that combines storytelling with illustration!

U.S. Naval Academy Junior Leadership Program

Our Junior Leadership Program dates for 2016 are:

Saturdays:  March 5, July 9, July 23, August 6 and August 27.

Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.

Young people 13 through 15 will spend half a day learning about Naval Academy as an alternative to a traditional college education.  This program, which will be fun, educational and interactive, includes a viewing of the film “The Call to Serve” and presentations by a retired Admissions officer on preparing for college and Navy and Marine Corps officers on careers in the services.  Junior Leadership Programs will be scheduled for Saturdays.

Cost of program, hat, lanyard, water and materials is $50.00.

Those interested in lunch following the tour may eat at the Drydock Restaurant in Dahlgren Hall(deli sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza and snacks) or at a variety of restaurants around Annapolis City Dock, just two blocks away.  Naval Academy souvenirs, gifts and clothing may be purchased, tax-free, at the official Naval Academy Gift Shop in the Visitor Center.
